John David "J.D." Hill is a Managing Partner and Founder of Velstand Wealth — powered by Accurate Advisory Group — in Tampa, Florida, where he advises high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on the full spectrum of wealth management, including investment management, banking, lending, and trust and estate planning.

Over a career spanning more than a decade in private wealth, J.D. has developed a reputation for disciplined portfolio construction, bespoke client solutions, and long-term relationships rooted in trust. Prior to founding Velstand Wealth, he served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and as a Senior Financial Advisor and Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he established a practice with over $100 million in assets under management and ranked among the top 15% of advisors at the firm. He began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he earned the PMD Excellence Award, was inducted into the firm's Pinnacle Club (top 5% of performers nationwide), and was elected Chairman of the Merrill Edge Advisory Council, representing more than 1,000 advisors across the country.

J.D. holds an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Kansas. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, the Florida 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuities license, and the Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC®) designation.

A longtime resident of Tampa, J.D. is deeply engaged in the local community and serves on the Board of AdventHealth West Florida, where he supports the organization's mission of whole-person care across the Tampa Bay region. He is also an active member of Tampa's Jewish community, including Congregation Schaarai Zedek.

Outside of work and community service, J.D. enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith; their daughter, Maren; and the family's goldendoodle, Millie. His personal interests include golf, collecting fine watches, wine, and travel.
